The River Street project was previously a dilapidated and run-down old mill that dated back well over 100 years. The property suffered from significant neglect and was a blight on the whole area. The project involved required permits from the local historic district commission for demolition and construction of new homes under local historic guidelines. Environmental permits we required from the local conservation commission to comply with the local wetland bylaw and the State’s river front regulations as well as appropriate cleanup and mitigation of the entire site. The entire site was redeveloped into 10 single family homes that fit in with the style and character of the historic district it was in, as well as looked in place with the other historic homes in the area.
